Hillary made the case she needed to make to her supporters who were still sitting on the fence, and she did it perfectly, in a speech for the ages.

The selection of the right Chairman of the Democratic National Committee to succeed Howard Dean is critical to the success of the Obama Presidency.
As the manager of Obama's campaign, Plouffe steered the best-run presidential campaign in years. He efficiently matched man, message, money, and machine.
The DNC has committed an act of war. YouTube darling Harriet Christian fired back bullets of passion. Pretty? No. But she revealed the depth of frustration many people are feeling right now. That she did.
I'm concerned as to how the traditional media will frame Barack Obama. If the cover of TIME's convention preview is any indication, we're in trouble.
Last week a mix of water and sanitation experts gathered for World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden to mull over the world's biggest public health crisis. The problem is that not enough people paid attention.
The Clintons' narcissism perfumed every bit of Hillary's campaign, and it leaked down to her contributors and followers. "Were you in it for me?" was the funniest line of her speech.
Since Obama's problems from the Democratic Primary have not been resolved, nor reported by the national media, the Electoral College map signals trouble for the media's main man.
Let's talk about Obama's energy policy and if it is the right step. Let's talk about the Iraq war and the war in Afghanistan and which candidate's choices demonstrated a greater quality of experience.

KRISTOL: Other than the words and speaking style, this speech could have been given by anyone
What now? Our primary goal is to unite the millions of disaffected Democrats and to hold the DNC and its leadership accountable this November and beyond, working to defeat key players and create fairer elections.

I was hoping that he would head up a progressive think tank. We need some organization and Dean could provide it.
Dr. Dean is due a position at the table. President Elect Obama wants to take information from the best and brightest. Keeping Howard Dean out of the loop will not serve this country. He gets how this country operates and how our lower d- democratic values need to be resurrected, especially in the times we face over the next several years. I'm pretty sure the Rahmenator understands that. Dean is essential to our rebirthing of this democracy.
Howard Dean for the cabinet, absolutely!
This is ridiculous and insulting to professional educators who have made the real progress and worked toward actual education reform in America. Howard Dean may be owed a favor, but he's a physician, not an educator. Look at Linda Darling-Hammond, Deborah Meier or countless other real educators. Again we see how even progressives regard this profession and the lack of attention to or understanding of what's actually needed and works for the success of our youth.
