John McCain's Health Care Adviser: "There Are No Uninsured."
That's right. John Goodman's solution to the health care crisis in America is to change the definition of "uninsured" so that magically, everyone is covered.

The V.P. thing has me down. How am I supposed to top Joe Biden? With Tim Pawlenty? His name sounds like a high-fiber breakfast cereal.
I'm told by Clinton associates that the former president does not have any foreign travel planned between now and the election. I think that, if Obama is to win, Clinton needs to play a very crucial role.
Sure, hindsight is 20-20. But after watching Hillary and Bill Clinton's speeches over the past two nights, you have to believe that their rousing endorsements of Barack Obama were inevitable.
McCain's hit squad are nattering nabobs of negativism -- they injure the long standing bi-partisan consensus on Israel for pure political gain.
Romney is every bit the corporate cash cow as Obama -- he virtually self-bankrolled his campaign. He can do what McCain has struggled to do and that's open the GOP's corporate money spigot wide.
In the Q & A, McCain can't think of a single criticism of his campaign so far and refuses to answer when pressed.
It was nice to see John Kerry as angry at George Bush and John McCain as Democrats have been at John Kerry the last four years.
Without a successful voter registration and turn-out effort, backed with aggressive efforts to promote fair elections, Obama faces some serious challenges in a tight election in the fall.
The anticipatory bounce that VP nominee Joe Biden's speech was supposed to deliver was that he knew Obama and McCain and was going to differentiate the two. Didn't happen.
The most fundamental difference in how Democrats and Republicans view middle class Americans revealed itself inadvertently in speeches during the second night of the convention in Denver.
In a night that was supposed to celebrate women and their achievements, why so many male speakers? Why did we get the bland white-toast Mark Warner and the anti-choice Bob Casey.
Let's be honest: it's neither the Republicans' nor the Democrats' fault that we're in such a mess today. We have no one but ourselves to blame.
McKinnon left the McCain campaign in June after saying he would "not be the tip of the spear" attacking Obama in an advertising campaign.
In the ad, which is being broadcast in key swing states, an announcer intones, "They're the cutest children in the world - but are they ready to lead?"

We need this like we need a hole in the head. Another Republican who's not willing to be open and honest with the public. Sheesh.
WoW the guy's an A$$HOLE.
Why isn't the HuffPost running the story CNN has going about Russia saying the US is behind the Georgia conflict?
"Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of its presidential election candidates."
An answer to the POW ad.
A MIA ad featuring him eating cake with w during Katrina, missed Senate votes, etc...
Let's say it as politely as we can. John McCain has a history of cheating on his wives and the Navy found him unsuitable for promotion to admiral despite a family legacy of 4-star admirals. I find the idea of him directing our foreign policy and as titular head of the military during war very disturbing. The "commander in chief" role in the Constitution was all about reinforcing civilian pre-eminance over the military, not a veiled requirement for military experience.
John McCain had lousy luck in war and served honorably in confinement. His conduct after release, though, hasn't always been so honorable, particularly towards his first wife.
Some things don't get better with age.
